In the early 60s, he played trumpet and sang in the Mike Westbrook Band. In 1975, Phil Minton founded the vocal quartet Voice with Julie Tippetts (Julie Driscoll), Maggie Nicols and Brian Ely. Later collaborations with John Zorn, Peter Br\u00f6tzmann, Carla Bley, Tom Cora, Derek Bailey, FM Einheit, Alfred Harth and David Moss, among others. Since the eighties, his Feral Choir has performed in over twenty countries.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Carl Ludwig H\u00fcbsch<\/strong> is a German jazz and improvisation musician. H\u00fcbsch first learned the clarinet, then switched to drums and from 1983 to tuba. <\/p>\n<p>Since 1989 he has collaborated with musicians such as Arthur Blythe, Lester Bowie, Jasper van't Hof, Paul Lytton, Willem Breuker, Tomasz Sta\u0144ko, Pinguin Moschner, Thomas Lehn, Ernst Reijseger, Gunda Gottschalk, Harald Kimmig, L\u00ea Quan Ninh, Uli B\u00f6ttcher and Sebastian Gramss.<\/p>\n<p>H\u00fcbsch organized the SWR New Jazz Meeting. <strong>Trio Universe<\/strong> with Matthias Schubert and Wolter Wierbos and quartet <strong>Drift<\/strong> with Isabelle Duthoit, Joris R\u00fchl and Christian Lillinger to the octet with Philip Zoubek and the electronic musician Joker Nies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Harald Kimmig<\/strong> is a German violinist of free improvisational music and composer. He took lessons with Leszek Zadlo, Muneer Abdul Fataah, John Tchicai and Cecil Taylor. From 1984 solo concerts and as a member of the <strong>First Improvising String Orchestra<\/strong>. He played in a trio with Georg Wolf and Lukas Lindenmaier and is co-leader of the F-Orkestra, which has worked with musicians such as Buddy Collette and Peter Kowald.
