Surprise is one element that creates tension, but there is something else. It's in the way the three of them understand each other and how they pick up the mental thread that each of them unravels. Maybe it's because they've been together since 1988. But time has not dampened their impulses, I'll give them that. The creativity is still ripe. And that is what makes their music so lively and stimulates the senses. <strong>Gush<\/strong> has worked with Sofia Jernberg, Paul Lovens, Barry Guy, G\u00fcnther Christmann, Sven-\u00c5ke Johansson and Phil Wachsmann.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The evening will be opened by the formation Illumina<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The trio moves with great openness and permeability. <strong>Ilumina<\/strong> - with <strong>Leandro Hern\u00e1ndez Waber<\/strong> at the piano, <strong>Jonas Drobczynski<\/strong> on drums and <strong>Mina Lichtenberg<\/strong> on bass - within the sound spaces they create. Their compositions are influenced by classical piano music and Colombian folklore, among other things - sensitively interwoven with the aesthetics of contemporary jazz.
