A recommendable blog from Villingen-Schwenningen.
At this point we would like to refer to the museum blog City High 2 point out. Are you interested in history, art, music - naturally with reference to the Black Forest or Villingen-Schwenningen - places, things, times, people?
Then this blog is a wonderful and highly informative and entertaining addition to deepen your knowledge of local history. It's always a surprise how much passion and attention to detail is put into topics that you know little or nothing about.
Fans of SABA or MPS will also find what they are looking for here. Did you know that Ursula Brunner-Schwer was also for a short time (1965-1968) a Gallery in Villingen Bickenstrasse, in the building of the Hotel Blume-Post? Among other things, the later world-famous MC Escher was exhibited here.
The gallery was also called SABA-Studio, but had nothing to do with the recording studio. In addition to contemporary art, radio models of SABA on display. The rooms were white, the furnishings minimalist, the furniture modern - you would expect to find a place like this in Düsseldorf or Cologne.
Further beautiful contributions to the very successful Myth SABA exhibition, or what the Black Forest has to do with Tel Aviv and much more can be found there.
