THE FLYING LUTTENBACHERS (USA) LIVE CONCERT

The Flying Luttenbachers were founded in Chicago in 1991 and released on the legendary Skin Graft Label. The Luttenbachers' latest trio formation is a tight, intense, ferocious beast that executes complex compositions with visceral presence.

Since its outbreak in 1991, the The Flying Luttenbachers deconstructed music, reason and all notions of reason on 20 releases and more than 400 live performances around the world. The Luttenbachers' wild, modernist approach is unpredictable and draws on inspirations such as no wave, free jazz, death metal, noise, modern classical music, free improvisation, punk and black humor.

The new albums „Shattered Dimension“ , „Imminent Death“ (an edgy homage to Miles Davis from the 70s), „Negative Infinity“ (a brutal prog climax) and „Terror Iridescence“ (bizarre space minimalism) continued the group's diverse program of organizing dissonance and energy. Never tame or predictable, the The Flying Luttenbachers continues to strive for musical mediocrity. The latest incarnation of this iconoclastic group takes another bold new direction. After four albums and numerous shows and tours with the band's New York-based line-ups, former leader and founding member Weasel Walter, to make a change of scenery by returning to the original starting point - Chicago. The latest formation is a stripped-down power trio with Mr. Walter on guitar, bassist Luke Polipnick and drummer James Paul Nadien.
