Günter Baby Sommer, legendary drummer (including Peter Brötzmann, Alexander v. Schlippenbach, Peter Kowald, Evan Parker - but also Günter Grass, Christa Wolf and Manfred Krug) and Uli Kieckbusch (Ned Rothenberg, Cecil Taylor, Robert Dick) have already made several visits to the MPS studio. For their new album „Baby Blue Ballads“, they traveled to Villingen again to create a first-class recording in old walls with new wall paint under the direction of Frank Baumann. There was also a studio concert with guests and nice drinks at the MPS bar. We had a lot of fun and experienced an unforgettable evening.
