MØSTER! (NOR) LIVE CONCERT

25.09.2026

Psychedelic jazz meets raw rock energy

The Norwegian band Mustr! is one of the most exciting groups blending jazz, psychedelic rock, and experimental sound art. Led by the saxophonist Kjetil Møster The quartet brings together some of the most influential musicians on the Scandinavian scene—including members of Motorpsycho and Elephant9.

The band includes guitarist Hans Magnus Ryan (Motorpsycho), bassist Nikolai Hængsle (Elephant9, Needlepoint) and the drummer Kenneth Kapstad (Spidergawd, formerly Motorpsycho).

Since its founding in 2010, it has been developing Møster! a distinctive sound that blends free jazz, psychedelic rock, electronic abstraction, and cinematic soundscapes. Their music moves between the spiritual intensity of 1960s jazz, the electric power of 1970s fusion, and the hypnotic force of repetitive grooves—while always remaining unique and uncompromising.

The band truly comes into its own on stage: every concert becomes a sonic journey through explosive walls of sound, driving riffs, and meditative passages. Møster! captivates a diverse audience—from jazz and avant-garde enthusiasts to fans of psychedelic and experimental rock. Performances at renowned festivals such as the Øya Festival, the Molde International Jazz Festival or ReWire highlight their international appeal.

With albums such as Dust Breathing (2020) and the current Springs (2024) the band has continued to evolve. Springs has been hailed by the press as one of their most mature yet accessible works—an album that showcases the enormous range and musical depth of Møster! impressively demonstrates. For 2026, it is expected that Bolts has already announced the next chapter.
