On April 1, 2023, Marlies Brunner-Schwer passed away at the age of 95. The widow of MPS founder Hans-Georg Brunner-Schwer was a great friend of jazz music until the end. Many legendary jazz musicians performed in the Brunner-Schwers’ villa: Duke Ellington, the Oscar Peterson Trio, Mit Buckner and many others. Her hospitality was as legendary as her cooking and baking skills. She fondly remembered the great times when the crème de la crème of the jazz world visited the studio and the Brunner-Schwer house. A great passion was her garden, until shortly before her death she still took care of the plants. She was the center of her family and a proud great-grandmother. Farewell Marlies!
